Beloved Halloween
My Dining Room Halloween Decor was inspired this year by
Ms. Havisham from Great Expectations.
Helena Bonham Carter will be playing her soon in a new movie of the
Charles Dicken's tale.

Beloved sweetheart bastard. Not a day since then
I haven't wished him dead. Prayed for it
so hard I've dark green pebbles for eyes,
ropes on the back of my hands I could strangle with.

I stink and remember. Whole days
in bed cawing Nooooo at the wall; the dress
yellowing, trembling if I open the wardrobe;
the slewed mirror, full-length, her, myself, who did this
to me?

Puce curses that are sounds not words.
Some nights better, the lost body over me,
my fluent tongue in its mouth in its ear
then down till suddenly bite awake.

Love's hate behind a white veil; a red balloon bursting
in my face. Bang. I stabbed at a wedding cake.
Give me a male corpse for a long slow honeymoon.
Don't think it's only the heart that b-b-b-breaks.

I LOVE it.
Well done Nita Havisham!
Gorgeous Black and White wedding.
(Does Helena have to star in EVERY creepy movie? I mean, I LOVE her but....and Johnny Depp? do NOT tell me he's in it TOO!)
anyway, Simply Marvelous Darling!
XOXO - Cindi Havisham.

:D Such a cute dining room, Nita! I love it! Great Expectations is a great story, and I always hoped that Pip and Estella would marry....being the hopeless romantic that I am....

Wow that is quite some Halloween wedding tablescape! Love your creativity with it! The bats even on the plates are great! The excerpt from Great Espectations is downright creepy! Really fabulous job!
