Garaga Garage Doors

Charming Garage Doors
Garage carriage doors...they make a garage so special.
They take that garage from being a place to store your car to an asset and compliment to your home.
These old doors on a small stone garage would have held one small car.
Our garages and garage doors are much larger now to accommodate our large cars
and the increased number of them.
I have a detached garage and have to say I'm a fan of it.
But most homes today have attached garages which make it even more necessary
to make that garage as attractive as possible.
It takes up a large area of the facade of your house so it should be as welcoming as the rest of your home.
This one is straight out of a fairytale.
These photos are all inspirations I've pinned in preparation for replacing my own garage doors.
I love this driveway leading to the dark sea green of that garage.
This one is common to the type of cottages in Carmel, California.
A plain garage door would be so out of place.

Today there is such a variety of residential garage doors available, there really is no excuse
for having an ugly garage door.

I was recently contacted by Garaga Garage Doors and spent time exploring their website and was
amazed at the options in design they offer.

Here's a little video from their site about the design of their residential garage doors.
Below are just a few examples of their carriage style doors.
You have to go to their website to see all the numerous options available.
This garage door brings charm to the facade of this home.
A plain one would distract and harm the curb appeal.
This Garaga door enhances this home.
Another beautiful example. These doors add to the farmhouse ambience.
These too make the front viewed garage a beautiful thing rather than a big ugly box.
These are especially decorative and match the moldings on the rest of the home.

Try the Garaga website!
Upon getting there you can select a style.
Then select a color combination.
Next, you can either upload a photo of your own garage
and see how the new door looks
or use one of the provided house photos.
Choose the one that most looks like your home.
There!
Now you can see how the door you've selected would look on your house.

Really lovely. One day I'll have pretty carriage style doors on my garage.
I should have gone out and taken a new photo of my garage.
I don't have one straight on that shows my door but you can see a bit of it here.
It's very plain and does not enhance my garage one bit.
This photo from last year shows a little of it too.
Oh...how pretty my garage would be with some
residential garage doors from Garaga.

Perhaps your garage needs a little Garaga help, yes?

I love this post, my husband has promised for 2 years to replace garage doors and put a little pergola over them. This gives me LOTS of inspiration to help him :)
I also pinned it to my Outside projects board.

Go cheap on garage door & lower your home value.

Front door is the focal point. These pics neglected that. Don't paint front door the garage door color.

Choose insulated with the beauty of new garage door too. Truly helps HVAC bills.

No excuse to go cheap & ugly when, for almost the same price, gorgeous will raise house value & lower utility expenses.

Driveways & lighting & colors near garage doors are all a concern. As are exposed garbage cans.

Perhaps there should be a Garage Door & Garden tour. I think you know of a good sponsor!

Garden & Be Well, XO Tara

I can NOT believe you did a post on garages! This is torture.
I can barely make myself look.
I want a garage so bad.
The woman 3 doors down had her little garage knocked down and a new one built. I almost got in a car accident looking at it from the street so I took Blue for a walk so we could stand and gaze at it. Later the company left me a flyer on my door asking if I had seen the garage they had built.
I wanted to scream, how cruel! Of course I've seen it and lusted after it.
Sigh...maybe someday.
Until then I can't even look.
But if that day comes, I'll go to your Pinterest account and start pinning! :D

Every garage door from the photos were exquisite! They're all beautifully elegant and they're not overly fancy at all! Anyone would want to have a garage door like these. I've been wanting to change my garage doors for years, but I haven't quite found which one. As of now, I'm still looking for it and hopefully, I’ll find them soon!
