Yard of the Month

May 2015 Yard of the Month in Edgemere Park
Every year I am part of the Yard of the Month committee in my neighborhood, Edgemere Park in OKC.
This was the yard chosen for May 2015.
The style of this house is extremely unusual. There isn't another in the neighborhood like it.
I haven't seen another even similar in the city.
We are at the last of days for pansies. These were hanging in there for a few more days.
Sorry, I have not been here much of late. I did not intend to take a break. It just happened.
I so appreciate all your emails about our loss of Marcus.
My Mom is doing much better.
Our little loved dogs just have such short lives
and sometimes they are just shorter than what they should be.
Above is Daisy Too who my Mom adopted in March. She has been a true treasure.
She is very loving to Mom and little Rosie.
At first Rosie didn't care about her and after the loss of Marcus, Rosie just seemed very
out of sorts.
But lately she has really taken to Daisy Too and enjoys snuggling up with her.
Mom is so thankful to have her.
I'll be back on Sunday with Open House Sunday and Mod Mix Monday on Monday.

There is such awful grief when we lose a fur baby. Sending prayers to your sweet mom!
I love the yard your garden club recognized for May. I like the rocks in the flower beds. I like the containers, too. So pretty! You live in such a pretty neighborhood, Nita.

We miss you but totally understand. Love to all.
I am loving the turn in weather that brings us these beautiful yards and flowers.

Aw that is so sweet, I am glad to see that Daisy Two has made such a positive impact. I hope you get back in the swing of things soon...xo
