New Vintage Kitchen

I found the photos of this new vintage kitchen on the MLS listings of my neighborhood a few weeks ago.
The house sold super quick and I'm sure it was because of the kitchen.
Actually the only room they showed on the listing was the kitchen.
The kitchen lies just beyond those arched windows above.
I love that this kitchen though new...has a very vintage feel.
This kitchen would have originally been two rooms. Kitchen and breakfast nook.
This floor looks vintage but it's not...it's new but looks old.
The layout of this kitchen is unusual in that the sink is in the middle of the room and not at the window.
Here's the house on the outside - a pale yellow brick tudor.
I used to hate yellow brick till I moved into a yellow brick house and now I really like it.
Dare I say love it.
Back to the kitchen. These photos I found on an MLS site but a little searching and I found
lots of photos on the kitchen designer's site.
This kitchen was designed by Urban Kitchens in Oklahoma City.

I love their work. They designed my friend Nancy's kitchen.
They are who I would use if I were to totally redo my own kitchen.
marble counters - oh yes!

Tile all the way to the ceiling. Do you like that? I go and forth on it.
 lights came from Restoration Hardware

I was super happy to find these photos on line cause I'll admit...I did a few drive bys at dark
when their lights were on and I could see there was a fabulous new kitchen in there and I was dying
to see what it looked like.

Are you tired of all white kitchens yet?
I never will tire of them. They have always been my favorite.
My whole adult life I've wished for an all white kitchen.
That was one of the must haves when I was house shopping.

I think that kitchen would sell me too! Gorgeous! The outside is adorable too!

Yep. That's a pretty great kitchen.
I'd buy that house in a heartbeat. No, white kitchens will always be in style.

The homes exterior is so pretty but that kitchen would have sold me. White kitchens are always my favorite.

Beautiful, appropriate for the house, and looks so great with those windows. That had to have been exciting to find all those pictures to satisfy your curiosity. Love the house number set in the tile, too! Great vintage touch.

Whoa, that is a beautiful kitchen and you know I do love White.
But now I'm very curious to know what the rest of the house looked like!
I'm not tired of white kitchens and I'm sure I will never be but the other day I was walking through Lowes, lusting after some counter-tops when suddenly I saw these cabinets that look like old weathered wood. Kinda of a grey/brown color and I instantly loved them.
Jeez, what's happening to me?

I adore this kitchen….like, everything about it. Love the tile to the ceiling and the floors!!! It makes perfect sense that they'd only show the kitchen….I'm sure it did sell the house!

We lived in an EIFS home once upon a time….what a nightmare! So……ALL brick is beautiful to me! ;P

(I admit that I do prefer your yellow brick to our bright red…BTW people prefer yellow houses above all other colors!)

That kitchen is sweet. Love the sink in the middle...love the tile to ceiling and all of the white w/the stainless looks so clean and crisp.
I can dream of cooking there...

The designers did a great job on this kitchen renovation. It has a good balance of new and vintage style so It really looks like it belongs in the house. I especially love the floor.

I'm afraid I'd be too busy admiring my beautiful kitchen to do any cooking if it were mine!! I can see why the house sold so fast. I love the exterior and I couldn't help but notice that HUGE old tree in the front yard! Wow!

That kitchen is amazing and I love the windows in that room!

Not too fond of the tile going all the way up. Looks too much like an institutional kitchen. I don't mind white kitchens if they have some color accents. Kit

It's definitely hard to say yes to a home with a beautiful kitchen like that. I sure have no qualms with anyone buying it just for that, either. Hahaha! That is a very lovely home, and I'm sure lots of people will fall in love with it. Anyway, thanks for sharing that, Nita! All the best to you! :)
