Feathered Nest Market

It Was Time
Time to go back to Feathered Nest Market in OKC.
Diedra and I went by there last week and I snapped these photos of their merchandise.
When I am working at Pier 1, I often get asked how I can work in that place and
not spend my entire check.

Well, first of all....I need the money not the merchandise.
And although Pier 1 has many great things; most of them
are not my style.
I do enjoy helping other's put together "THEIR" style.

I buy little things here and there but so far nothing major.
But if I worked at Feathered Nest Market...I would have a hard time coming home
with any money at all.

Like that big clock and that perfect turquoise table above.
I'll take those little urns and the metal basket above.
I'm sure I could find a spot for this french chest of drawers.
That rabbit is perfect for Easter.
Maybe I should go back and get him.
Very nice chandelier. I'd like for my bedroom and how about the blue swirl vase?
I'll take both.
I'd love to have that trophy and those diamond pane windows.
I kept going back to this garden cart.
It's painted aqua and at $69, it was a steal.
But I couldn't justify it.
It's not the look I'm going for outside.
I thought it would make a good bar cart inside but it's rather wide and kind of short.
So I didn't think it right for that either.
Still it haunts me because I'd love to have it.
What do you think of it?
Maybe one of you will rush over there and snatch it up.
It needs a good home.

It's very cute...but does seem a tiny bit on the short side. Hmmmmm wonder what it could be used for! ♥

I agree, Nita. It would be hard to work there and not coming home with something each day. Or at the least want to come home with something! Great pics!

There are a few items that I would bring home from Pier 1. But I don't think my paycheck would go there.
I love those cute white urns as well and I have that cute rabbit. Got him
at Homesense.

Nita, your Tudor is lovely already you know. I would have problems working there however. I just cannot pay retail prices any more. Too thrifty now. Hugs, Olive

HI Nita, I am at my training classes for Annie Sloan, so happy to take a breather to look at blogs and was thrilled to read yours! I used to have that same tea cart! It was in black and matched a complete set I bought...I still have parts, but I cannot remember when I got rid of the cart! Didn't have the room for it I guess when I got divorced and moved and had to downsize everything I owned....i love how that store is decorated. I can't wait for you to come visit me (and yes I we are going to do that!)...and you can come work some Mod Vintage life magic into my shop!

That garden cart is cute. If I had it I would set it next to my clawfoot tub and stack shampoo and bathing supplies on it.
Actually I REALLY want the metal rack in the 5th photo down. It's to the left of the photo. I could use that in my kitchen.
