Inspired by Marie Antoinette

 I love Marie Antoinette

and
La Nosh Paperie!
A few weeks ago I stayed up and watched Sophia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette", twice.
I'd seen it before of course but it was on cable and I thought I'd watch again.
And I enjoyed it so much, I just watched it immediately again when it was repeated two hours later.
I never grow tired of the images and colors and fashions. I just love this movie. I love the story. When they take her dog away as she enters France. Well, I cry there every time. I love the story but the whole look of the film is so inspiring.
It is pure confection.
It's very vintage and yet modern.... ModVintage

This beauty seems unattainable in our own everyday life and yet I know how each of us can bring some of this magic into our lives.

Do you know La Nosh Paperie?

The first time I saw this blog...oh my....I'd never seen anything like it. Exquisite. Rapturous. A choir of angels singing.  It's ice cream colors, delightful design, diamond dust sprinkled throughout, french roses and vintage images dazzled me.
So beautiful.
Paulette of La Nosh has created many many gorgeous items. I discovered she actually doesn't live very far from me and yet her blog seems so European. She's so continental. The things that come from her head and through her fingers are truly magical. And.....she's nice! And loves dogs!

I have her blog button on my blog at all times, if you go there the things you'll find will amaze you.

One of her newest items....lampshades! Need some Marie Antoinette inspired sneakers?...she's got those. She has many pretty, pretty items...stationary, invitations, t-shirts, business cards...oh many things.

My problem with her things is that I like every one of them and can't decide what to order first.

I've never seen the movie, but looking at the pictures, I will have to. You are right, it is beautiful. I read a magazine article some time back and it was showing some parts of a Marie A. property, gorgeous, and they were restoring it! The store looks amazing too!

What is amazing is that I've never taken the time to watch the movie. I've had so many people tell me I will love it so now after you've posted that you watched it twice in a row ... I've got to see it! Plus I'm going right now to visit La Nosh Paperie.
How's your dog doing?
