Mod Mix Monday #197

 via
I love this kitchen! Isn't that green cabinet fun? Talk about a one of a kind kitchen!
It's just so quaint and pretty.

So I'm back with Mod Mix Monday...very late...but better late than never...I suppose.
And there were soooo many good things in the last Mod Mix Monday that I have lots of faves.
Here we go!
Look at the color in this outdoor table scape from Pam at Everyday Living!
Jamie of So Much Better with Age shared a cute sign she has hanging in her
shall I say elegant laundry room.
Wow! I love this room.
Vickie at Ranger 911 shared some changes in her living room.
Darrielle of DD's Cottage shared some pretty vignettes from around her house...
but this was by far the prettiest.
Her dog lounging in the living room.
Angie of Postcards from the Ridge shared her dining room and the blue touches in the living room.
This room makes me SMILE just like the pillow says.
Summer flowers from Jan at Just Jan Blog
Cecilia of My Thrift Store Addiction took a risk and painted her stove the prettiest shade
of green and it was a huge success!
She was inspired by the vintage looking stoves made by Big Chill that cost over $5000.
I have drooled over those stoves myself. I'll be anxious to hear how this paint job holds up.

Mod Mix Monday #188

I'm in love with that silver finished chest. I never would have thought to mix it with a
Chinese print, dog and geometric lamp. Oh...yes...I'd have done the flowers and mercury glass.
Just teaches me I need to think out of my decorating comfort zone....cause this is WAY pretty!

Speaking of WAY pretty...there was lots of pretty in the last Mod Mix Monday...
take a look...
First up... Jen of Noting Grace painted her dining table to go with
her new house. It turned out amazing!
Look how beautiful this desk is after being redone by Mary of Orphans with Make Up.

Pam of Everyday Living shared this colorful village she visited in Provence.
I love the way Darrielle made over this little vanity at DD's Cottage.
Look at this lovely mix of roses, lace and wisteria from Jan at Just Jan Blog.
Su of Butterfly and Bungalow showed off her adorable little kitchen.
I'd much rather have a kitchen like this than any big huge kitchen.
Isn't it precious?
and Cecilia of My Thrift Store Addiction was kind enough to share her trip to Round Top.
Oh...my...I want to go to this show. One of the guys I work with went and said it was so good.

Mod Mix Monday #185

 via
I am very much aware that there isn't anything modern about the above other than
it is happening in a modern world.
I just love that small porch. What a pretty spot to have a morning cup of tea.
Love those chairs and the chandelier and the lace curtains.
Pier 1 has a new line of outdoor furniture that looks very similar to these chairs.
 Isn't it nice?
Actually, I'm thinking these would make great host & hostess chairs in my dining room.
Something else to wish for.
In the meantime here are my favorites from last week's Mod Mix Monday!
First up....look at this lovely beadboard bed tray made of scavenged items found by Joan of
Scavenger Chic. I think this might be the prettiest bed tray I've seen.
Luann of Lovely Livings set a pretty Easter table.
Darrielle of DD's Cottage did a unusual paint job on this little dresser.
Don't you like the bits of real wood showing through?
A pretty pony themed birthday party at Simply Suzannes.
Ann of Duct Tape and Denim shared a tutorial on how to make tape measure bracelets.
I love the mix of the old tape with a rhinestone pin.
Note to self - Make one of these!
