Fall Mantel

A repost of photos of my mantel from last year.
I know I have lots of new readers and maybe quite a few have not seen.
Yes, this years mantel is still to come...but it may look a lot like this..or maybe not...we'll see.
Almost time to get out all the Christmas.
I promise...I'm working on a tutorial of my silver spice rack complete with it's new bottles.

This is with the old bottles but I'll show how I made the shelves in these racks in my tutorial.

I've been out and about a lot this past week.
I now have two part time jobs and by end of next week, I may have four.

That is what is up with me.

I don't remember this either Nita, so I am glad you posted on it because it is beautiful! I love your candle sconces, I don't think I have noticed them before.

Nice to see the mantel again. We so many images over the course of a year, it's new all over again.

You're so creative, I'm sure a lot of people could use your skills. I hope you're getting to put those skills to good use.

I'm sure I saw this last year but had forgotten how pretty your mantel was. I figured you were working. But 4 jobs?? You really did go back to work. Take care!

I remember this gorgeous mantel done up for Thanksgiving. You have some beautiful mercury glass and you put it together very artistically.

Nita,
I think you brought mercury glass back!!! I'm seeing it everywhere now. HomeGoods even has mercury glass apothecary jars...which is strange, because you can't see what's in them, but they do look nice. Your mantle is captivating!
Hope this year's is just as nice.
You are right Christmas is speeding right up on us. I'll be busy undecorating this weekend.
Fill us in on all the jobs....sounds like you hit the jackpot. Have a great week!

Oh my goodness, last year's mantel is GORGEOUS! No reason to change that at all, it was perfect! And 2-4 part time jobs! Whoa, i might be out doing the same thing, because of the way the economy has affected my job. I guess with 2 jobs, at least if one is tiresome, the other might be better...??
