Flowers as Far as the Eye Can See
Yesterday, I went by the Historic Farmers Public Market near downtown OKC.
Love the old world details of this historic building.
This building is mostly used for events these days like concerts, fairs and roller dirby and
It's booked solid till 2013 for Weddings each weekend.
The side building is full of antique shops.
But around back and
the reason I stopped were the rows and rows of flowers and plants.
prices were very very good
There is a grocery store here too and many vegetable and fruit vendors.
It's really a hidden gem of OKC.

Nita, what a great building I love that the flowers are in a historic setting. also love the flowers, I used to fill my garden but now arthritis has gotten hold of me so I am only using flower boxes now. I used to spend a fortune, grrrr not any more lol. hugs JoAnn

What a little piece of heaven....simply lovely! Have a delightful weekend my dear friend! Xoxoxo
Beautiful place thanks for sharing!
OK. I've lived here 22 years and didn't know they did that there. We went to a blues concert there once...it was fun. Felt like the floor might crash in...which of course added to the ambience.
We will plan on that next Saturday, I hope. :)
Oh My...the buildings alone inspire me to want to shop till I drop...OH and those rows of plants...I could seriously dent a CC in there hehe.
Thank you for sharing this gem.
Blessings Kelsie
Wow beautiful architecture and flowers as far as the eye can see! My idea of heaven.
Looks like a place I'd love to see!
That is a lovely setting for those rows of plants. I would have gotten into trouble.
HI NIta! It looks like a destination spot if I ever come to visit you in my RV someday! lol
I am on the vineyard and have been scouting a few shops, so when I get back I will post on my shopping adventures too.
I love the dusky pink of the building details.
Hi Anita,
What a great place to shop! I love green houses full of lush plants. I stopped at one on Friday and was not very happy with the prices, but I bought several beautiful tomato plants. I just hope they are worth what I paid.
Hugs, Cindy
