Outdoor Serving Stations

Repurposed Furniture
Vintage furniture makes great potting benches but it makes an equally
good serving station in the garden.
This one a beverage center, specifically.
A headboard added to a table with a shelf creates this one.
A simple wood box with shelves and a hinged door creates one that attaches to a wall.
The über talented Heather Bullard styled this one.
This one is very elegant but isn't it nice outside?
This one goes to the country side complete with cake pedestals for serving pie.
A potting table, skirted really takes this serving spot to a whole other level.

Now if I'd just finish up my potting bench...I'd have something I could use as a
serving station too!

I love this idea, Nita! And it would also mean that when I fell in love with an old piece of furniture my husband couldn't say, "There's no room for it in the house." Because I could just put in the yard! You always come up with new ideas for me!

Love the look of these pieces of furniture outdoors. They all have a nice rustic look that really works well in a garden.

Sp glad you showed these! We're hosting the block party this Friday and I'm going to use our potting bench to serve the drinks, and serve sangria in a glass canister, just like the second photo. Lots of other great ideas here too!

well that was a great idea...the bed headboard as a backdrop to the table. I loved that idea and you have got me thinking...

LOVE this post, and I love your Pinterest board, too! I pinned the first image onto my Shabby Chic Outdoor Spaces board.

I think a potting bench/serving station is a great idea!

I had not thought about putting a beverage station in a backyard. We are attempting to get a gazebo set up and a small station like this would be a perfect addition. I really like the station which was mounted to the wall. It is a smart job of reusing furniture as well.
