Ottomans on the Brain

I finally got my new ottoman out of the box.
Yes, there is still lots of glitter on my rug from Christmas.
I should have vacuumed before I got the ottoman out but I didn't.
This is what it looks like.
The fabric is blah in the room.
I knew it would be.
I'll be making a slipcover for it.
I'm thinking this fabric.
I love solid velvet ottomans but since my sofa is solid pink...I need a pattern or
another color.
I'll later make a solid white linen slipcover too.
I'll probably paint the legs white.
Pinned these rooms for inspiration.
Wow! Love this room.

I'm painting this huge chalkboard frame - white...might as well paint the legs on the
ottoman while I'm at it.

Oops! Late for work...I'll link up photo links later when I get home.

Very nice ottoman! Sam and I were thinking of getting the headboard with that French fabric for the guestroom,
but it looks like it's discontinued now.
Oh well, we'll find something else I'm sure.....I do like your floural choice
for recovering it. It will look stunning!
and with those white legs, Look Out!

Was at MMS furniture Friday party when I saw "your" floral floral fabric! You gotta see it as a seat cushion on a chair that's painted white:

I love the fabric, Nita. Can't wait to see it after the transformation. I like the idea of painting the legs too.

Oh! that will look pretty when you are done.
Can't wait to see it.
Makes me want to drag the ottoman that the cats sleep on downstairs, upstairs and cover it in something lovely.

I love a round ottoman. It will be nice to have a patterned slipcover and a solid white one to change around. Will you make them with gathers or pleats?

Love the Paris in your Ottoman but I see it does fade away, not that prominent is it! Love the yellow toille, can't wait to see your selection.

Great, thanks for sharing. Footstools are used in many homes throughout the UK and there are many types available. My favourite type of footstool is a storage footstool. This is because they offer so much more than a traditional footstool. Visit to view a great range of footstools.
