Fall Decor

I'm Wishing...

Wishing this was my fall vignette.
I love everything about this.
lamps - love
mirror - love
mercury glass pumpkins - love
wall paper - love
table - well...it's a bit too much for my taste but it
does look good here

I designed my fall mantel last night...but I had to make do with just what I had.
I do not want to spend any money. No, I take that back...I CANNOT spend any money.
But you know...it's not making me happy.
So I might go see if I can find a few cheap accessories today to make it work and then I'll share here.
Silly...because this mantel will only be up a couple of weeks
and then all the Christmas will come out.

I've got tons of Christmas...I won't need to buy anything except more fake snow and glitter, perhaps.

But as I said yesterday...I'm sick of orange and all I have is orange pumpkins.
So maybe I can find a few white tomorrow.

Of course what I really want are mercury glass pumpkins...doesn't everyone?
I put one in my blog header, hoping to fill my desire for one.
I have a mercury glass pear...but it's not the same.
I guess I could pretend it's a gourd.
Julia at Hooked on Houses displays these beauties.
Look at these displayed at Tropical Feel.
Melanie at The Old White Cottage shows off this one.
Wisteria has this set for only $34. That's not bad. Actually that's pretty good.
Although I'd want three sets of them. But I need them now.
I guess if I ordered...they would be here before Thanksgiving.
But I want something tomorrow.

Do you think if I go out in search of a mercury glass pumpkin tomorrow...I'll find one or two?
Wish me luck.

Happy hunting. Something tells me that your mantle already looks good, but I know how it is.

I have never actually found a mercury glass pumpkin during all my shopping trips. If you find one you should just grab it! Good luck!

Try to wait and get them on sale after the holiday. Then show them to us next year.

Oooh, its my dining room. ;-) It seems I got lucky with that pumpkin when I found it. Its one of the most common inquiries I get on my blog.

Love your blog!
