Mod Mix Monday #199

 via
I'm in love with this little corner of this kitchen.

My faves from last time's Mod Mix Monday are...
Pam of Everyday Living made these lemon rosemary short breads.
She included the recipe and I'm dying to try them!
A walk through the garden at Priscilla's. That's Ronnie her dog waiting for you at the end of the path.

Penny of Penny's Treasures shared her creative container gardening.
I adore this chandelier in a flower pot.
Vickie of Ranger 911 has been busy painting.
Isn't this a cute display?
Love this summer display at Priscilla's.

Sorry posting has been few and far between.
I'm doing the best I can these days.

Mod Mix Monday #198

Isn't this such a fresh room? I love how they've mixed that serious antique desk with the 60's
mod chair.
This room is very traditional but the lamps, accessories and fabrics keep the room from
being stodgy.

Faves from last week's Mod Mix Monday...
Priscilla shared how her garden is growing.
 I especially love this photo...magical.
Pam of Everyday Living showed off her pretty bedroom all done up for Summer.
I love the colors in this room.
Christine of Rustic Refined showed off her industrial farm house dining room.
Lots of good stuff in this room.

Mod Mix Monday #183

via
Yummmmmm! I do love me a chesterfield and a gray velvet one is especially yummy.
Usually you think of a chesterfield in a leather but velvet sure works absolutely just as good.
I'd like it better myself.

I am so in the mood for spring stuff and so are many of you. I can tell by your posts.

Tonight when I drove home from work...I was super surprised to see that the Farmers Market down
on Reno had tons of pansies and ferns and other plants out already.
Yes, spring is on the way!

Here we go with my favorites from last week's party...
Cielo of The Little White Cottage in the Woods shared photos of her garden from last year.
Jan of Just Jan shared outdoor decorating tips from a friend and designer Cathy. I'm in love with her outdoor spaces.
This is a super cute St. Patrick's Day banner made by Ann at Duct Tape and Denim.
Here's a great idea from my longtime blog friend, Traci of Three Dogs at Home -  A fancy water bowl for a favorite pooch.
1st this makes the dog bowl attractive...and second...it gets it up higher which is good for bigger dogs.
Another great furniture makeover by Darrielle of DD's Cottage. She is here every week.
I love everything she does.
And Darrielle (DD's Cottage) shared her dining room with it's touches of pink for Spring.
Gigi of Old World Patina and Bottle Art Boutique shared this cool Santos Shrine she made.
Su of Butterfly and Bungalow shared photos taken at a local nursery.

Mod Mix Monday #170

 via
I'm not much for heavy browns and golds in my house so fall colors
aren't my decorating choices. But that photo above from Better Homes and Gardens
illustrates how just a little of fall's colors warm up a space.
I adore that room above.
It's elegant and casual at the same time.

Seems the theme of this week's favorites from Mod Mix Monday is light
neutrals mixed with just a little of Fall's colors.
See below...
Brittany of The Rococo Roamer shares her source for authentic swedish mora clocks.
Isn't her's fab?
Melissa of Shabby Love linked up her amazing fall mantel.
All the cubby holes filled with fall things...is really a treat to see.
One More Time Events shared her lovely Fall mantel. It's all silver and dried hydrangeas.
It wouldn't be a Mod Mix Monday without the appearance of Darrielle of DD's Cottage.
First her Fall Mantel Design!
And she painted up this pretty little cart too! Love the style of this thing.
Darrielle of DD's Cottage and Design did it again!
Delia of Revived by Delia linked up this pretty dresser.
In the before this dresser was so ho hum but afterwards it's just so wonderful.
I love the lines of it. I'd love to have this in my own home.

Oh...and finally my friend Cindi at Old Black Cat Boo did a cute post about
all her fur babies trying to stay warm together.

Pillow giveaway is still going on....
