Open House Sunday

Atlanta Old Money
This mansion in Atlanta was built in 1925.
It had me at it's blue doors and windows.
A sun room creates a morning breakfast spot.
This home appears to be staged although not with the typical staging type furniture.
Perhaps the owner left behind enough of their belongings to give the house a lived in look.
I love this dining room layout with the big french doors out to a terrace.
Love those bamboo dining chairs too.
The breakfast nook off the kitchen.
Plenty of room for an island in  this vintage kitchen.
A bamboo table provides work surface for now.
 back covered outdoor patio
with it's lovely hexagon tiles
I wish I had a back courtyard. The perfect spot or an evening al fresco dinner.
Again, this house is staged but it has great bones.
Oh my a row of french doors to the second floor balcony!

Perfect vintage bath. Notice the ornate mirror over the sink.
Just the right touch.

I am not a fan of the school bus yellow walls.
A paler yellow would have been much better.
Oh...I like these wee beds...they are just right.
 lovely brick patio out back

Today I'm going over to my friend Judy's house to see what she's been up to in her garden.

I'll take pics!

Gorgeous! I love the way the natural light is coming into that house. I'm with you on the mustard yellow walls. They seem out of place with everything else. Maybe they repainted the rest of the house to sell it and that room hasn't been painted.
