Open House Sunday 32

Heritage Hills in Oklahoma City
built 1919
Kind of loving this kitchen.
I love all the silver and the marble and the checkerboard floor and tin ceiling.
I like the black cabinets too but this kitchen would be just as pretty with white ones.
Probably prettier.
Really cute dog house.

Did you have a nice New Year's Eve?
I spent it working till 11:45 pm and then went by my friend Petra's house to share a cocktail.
Today is a New Day and a New Year.

Beautiful house but what's up with the stupid toile curtains in the dining area?

I wish you all the best in the new year, Nita. All good things to you in 2012!

I had to go back and look at the toile curtains...I remembered thinking geez those black walls are terrible in the dining room. Well Steve is right, they could move the rods down and have the curtains hit the floor and have the top uncovered...this house is a great house nonetheless. Wishing you a better year filled with positive surprises and wonderful outcomes.
Dave worked, I painted~and was in bed at the turn of the year. xxoo

If this house was decorated differently maybe I would like it.
The kitchen I like a little bit, probably because it's black and white but God I hate that bathroom.
Don't really care for anything else and the landscaping is very sad.
Hope you are having a Great New Year! I worked this AM and so far so good! LOL!

This house has its finer elements. But then there is a zebra office and a PeptoB bedroom. And, yes, the kitchen could be a wow . . . with white cabinets.

That is a really lovely home. I agree with you that the kitchen would probably be nicer with white cupboards. I would leave the Island table black for a sharp contrast.
I hope you are having a good day.
Hugs, Cindy
