Faux Wood

If I was a gnome...

this would be my dining room.
What am I saying?...I love it even as a human.

Ummmm....IDK......I would prolly have one too many glasses of wine and injure my knee on one of the branch stubbies. You would not expect that table in that room, though. It's cute!

Can we agree to disagree? I love everything EXCEPT the table. The little stumps on the side do it no justice. It just feels so wrong to me. Sorry!

Okay, I had to stop back by to tell you that since I read this post (still love the table by the way...maybe we are cooky together?) I have been singing "If I were a gnome" to the tune of Beyonces "If I were a boy..." Hahaha

I'm not feeling it for my dining room but how adorable in a nursery I think. I'm certain after reading Michelle's comment I'm going to be humming "If I were gnome" all day as well :)

You have surprised me on this one. Just when I think I know your style, you pull out a tree trunk! lol Can't say I share your love on this one. But the rest of the room is gorgeous!

It's definitely whimsical! When I was little we actually had a coffee table that was made from a tree. The top was a long sideways slice of tree and it sat on 2 stumps...it was very 70's and looked lovely against the orange carpet:)

If you painted it silver you would be more fitting for a glam gnome, and that my dear would be right for you!

I must say I love it! But I might paint it silver or gilt gold. I have a whole "enchanted forest" thing going over at my house anyway!

um...yeah.
Silver.
and maybe with some glitter sprinkled on it.
and if I squinted my eyes really hard, ah maybe.....

I think it is heavenly. I just used that color scheme in my powder room. I am coveting every little detail!

Do you know the source of the table? I am sure it is out of my budget but it is fantastic!

What a clever table. I'm digging the new touch of rustic, are you?

I love it, too!

Okay....so I saw wagging tail doxies on your button on someone else's blog and just had to check it out! Oh my....four weenies?! They are adorable and needless to say, I am going to be your newest follower. My doxie, Gracie, passed away last October. We had 17 wonderful years together:)! I cannot imagine four doxies in one home......what laughter they must create with their antics! Loved your "postings" about each one!

I agree! Should be on the cover of Gnome Homes! But . . . that chandelier / lamp has got to go. I thought it was funny at first but the more I look, it get's ridiculous.
