Bulletin Board

Bulletin Board & Frame Wall
I first shared this project when Donna at Funky Junk Interiors had a Color Challenge.
But now she is asking to share bulletin boards so I'm posting photos of this project again.

Last time I posted this I talked mostly about the frames that surround the board.
The frames were collected over time. Some were already in fun colors and others I spray painted.
This bulletin board or inspiration board began as a super huge frame that I bought at Hobby Lobby
on sale at 50% off of course. It was gold originally...so I painted it black and then white and
sanded it a little to let the black show through below.
I had an old cheap framed bulletin board that was just the right size to fill it.
I took the cheap wood frame off and covered the board with a toile fabric in shades of aqua and
gold then slipped it into the frame.
After I printed out some of my favorite images from the internet to put on it,
you can't see much of the fabric beneath.
After it was on the wall....I decided to try the mirror in the middle of it and liked it.

Thats a pretty bulletin board. You turned the whole wall into a work of art. I like the mirror in the middle, it gives it more dimension!

Yup, count me in for loving the mirror in the middle of your bulletin board. Unexpected and a real eye catcher.

Nita, I LOVE your wall. the little mirror in the middle of your (gorgeous) bulletin board is so inspiring, and I think it just makes the vignette, kind of like the perfect evening bag makes an outfit! I am showing this post to my 18 year old daughter. She is looking for dorm room inspiration for next fall! However, I might beat her to it in my studio ;P

I love all the colored frames and that large frame is beautiful! I have a wall of empty frames in my living room and I really like it better than any art I've had hanging there.
Your arrangement is so happy and cheerful!
