Mod Mix Monday #84

Big Wall - Big Art
Many are perplexed by what to do with those really tall walls in their homes.
This is the answer..lots of really big art.
I love this whole room.
The arrangement of large vintage framed posters around and above an old chippy painted
console.
Mercury glass lamps on said console.
A Chesterfield sofa opposite a very modern low mid century sofa.
I really like the mix of old and new in this room.
Wow! It's just super great.

Let's get right to my favorite Mod Mixes from last week...
Aimee of Twigg Studios made paper peonies for pennies.
Just lovely.
I will make these....I will make these...(said while clicking my heels together).
Patricia of Old Things New made these pretty bookmarks from jewelry baubles and findings.
Makes you want to read a book...doesn't it?
Julie of Lilacs & Longhorns shopped her house and came up with this nice mantel display.
I don't know about you...but I sure don't have a nice old window like that lying around waiting to be used.
Looks great!
Melinda of the Refeathered Roost showed off her mantel makeover.
And yes...it's the boss but what? Look at her matching green chesterfields and that crazy print chair!
To die....to die.
One Creative Couple are at it again turning a blah chair into a Frenchy Fabulous Chair.
I can hear the birds singing and clouds parting at the creation of this pretty thing.

Yes, pretty wild and wonderful things this past week.

Share your Mod Mixes for this week below.
Remember anything old made over to be new...anything new changed up to look old.
New and old together...
Please include the Mod Mix Monday logo and back link to me.
Use a permalink to your post, for sure.

If you link up...I'd appreciate it, if you'd follow me.

Thanks so much for the feature, Nita.
I know if my crazy chair could talk he would say, "Thank you for appreciating my uniqueness especially since my owner calls me wild thing with a hint of disapproval in her voice". Thank you for hosting!

Those two green chesterfields won my heart! Love the white one too but these things are so big it almost needs another one in the room. I haven't seen the crazy chair yet but will go check it out. I cold see living with that green!

Hi Nita,
I love your blo and visit it regularly and link up sometimes. Just wondering if you can see my links. They don't seem to show up even after some time has past. No big deal if you don't have time to look into it. Just to test things out, I linked up two projects... probably #47 and #48. Hope you have a great day.
