Tree House

Cottage in the Trees
I'm running around today and working on projects....
Sorry, I haven't shown much original stuff from my house lately.
I'm working on things here.

This photo inspired me as to how my garage could look.
I need to paint the side door and the windows.
The roof is already that color but the painter's didn't paint all the trim on the garage as they did
on the house. I'm not sure why. And I'm not sure why I didn't say anything about it.
Honestly, I was so happy to get the house done and then they painted the garage door and were like  -
See Ya! But they said it in Spanish.

I didn't realize they hadn't painted the windows, side door and trim around the garage.
It was almost dark when they wrapped up and I was off to go somewhere in a hurry.
To their credit there was that huge car port still in the way so it was kind of hard
to imagine the garage looking good.
After it was removed...I realized...hey...they didn't paint the side door and windows!
I would have them come back and finish the job...but they went back to Honduras.
They were suppose to let my neighbors know when they came back because
we all have projects we'd like them to do. But no word as of yet.

So this year...I'll be painting my garage to look like this.
And then I'll have my own little cottage out back.
Well except it won't be up in the air.

Hi Nita...

Oooh...isn't that just the most adorable cottage tree house you've ever seen? I love it! I would just die for a little cottage tree house getaway like that!!! Love, love, LOVE the roof and ohhh...those gorgeous "cottagey" windows and door...FABULOUS!!! Does your garage have similar windows, etc.? Can't wait to see it!

Well dear lady, it has been a little while since I have been by for a visit! Just popping in to say hello and see what you've been up to! Sounds like you're keeping busy!

Have a fabulous Friday, my friend!

That is one cute tree house cottage. I laughed at your story about not questioning the painters...sometimes I do the same thing cuz I am too embarrassed to ask the obvious. Oh well. I love to paint though, and maybe painting the garage is doable yourself. If it looks anything like this little house, you will love finishing it off. By the way, the UPS guy brought the wallpaper today for my china cabinet and I am thrilled about it! Always risky ordering printed things online, but I am hoping to work on it this weekend. We will both be working on projects!

That is ADORable! LOVE the color scheme....I could totally see it as a garage. Very Hansel & Gretel with the whole garden thing... fence, finials, clay pots, little pops of red in the potted plants and rose bushes...I could stare at it for hours. Hugs

Love your story. You always make me smile!
I wish I had that treehouse right now! I'd take my bed pillows up there and burrow under the comforter AWAY from everyone!
Sigh..........
See ya! (LOL!)

Adorable! You probably don't watch the Bachelor, but if you do, maybe you saw that date up in the tree house on an African safari last week. It was an amazing space! My husband is like why do you watch that stupid show. lol They are silly but I like looking at the scenes. The tree house was over the top.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't ask the obvious at times. Sometimes you just don't want to rock the boat, especially when there's a language barrier.

I could look at that treehouse all day long. I think it's neat that it is your inspirations for painting the trim on your garage. :D

I am swamped with projects around here, too. I hope I can at least finish a craft around here this weekend!

Have a great weekend, Nita!

Totally charming. It's amazing what you can do to make magic out of what is existing outside. I'll look forward to seeing what you do -- I always love when you share your own stuff. It is ALWAYS charming and lovely!
