Mod Mix Monday #49

...this is my dream...
A simple bedroom with a few pretty things and french doors out to
the garden.
I have a back bedroom that basically gets used for storage.
But one day, I hope to put in french doors and move my bed
to that room and sleep like this.

Here's my favorites from last week's Mod Mix Monday Party!
Twigg Studios graciously shared her method for making peonies from cupcake liners.
Aren't they luscious?
A Few Pennies created this unique message board.
So frenchy!
Living Savvy turned a retro dresser into this Mid Century Modern Marvel.
La Maison Jolie made this vintage looking shelf for her bath.
The hooks she used are just perfect for this project.
Fabiana of Ciao! Newport Beach found an old cart for $12 at a garage sale and
turned it into a fabulous well stocked bar cart!

Great stuff as usual!

Show me what you did this last week.
I made another Craigslist trip to buy another piece of furniture.
I'll show tomorrow. I'm super excited about my latest find.

On Sunday at Pier 1, I had a customer come in and buy new cushions for a patio set.
I asked what her furniture looked like and she said it was outdoor wicker that she'd
just gotten at Goodwill.
She said it was like brand new and very pretty.
It was....she showed me a photo on her phone.

I said..."I know this is rude, but what did you pay?"
She said she got it for FREE!

A lady was unloading it at Goodwill to donate and she stopped to inquire as to how
much it was and the lady just gave it to her. It never made it into the store!

It was like brand new!
What a lucky find.

Link up your Mod Mix's below....

Remember anything old made over to be new...anything new changed up to look old.
New and old together...

Thanks so much for hosting each and every week!

Pretty bedroom but it's not what I expected as your "dream bedroom". I'm surprised that you chose one with a black floor and that the bed isn't more ornate or maybe upholstered in hot pink satin. I also would have thought it would have a colorful painting over it and be covered in wienies!
:D :D :D
(great picks as always)
