Granny Squared
When I was a kid I worked on making a granny square afghan.
I chose colors of lime green and aqua but I didn't get very far on it. Maybe twenty squares.
I do like to crochet and am thinking about trying again to make an afghan.
This photo sure makes me want to.
Lots of color in last week's Mod Mix Monday.

I don't know about you but now I want to crochet AND make some new lamps.
I'd love it if you linked up what you've been up to this past week below.
Something old painted new or something new added to an old room. Or something modern mixed with something vintage or vice versa.

Hi Nita! I love the turquoise drawer. I used to be an expert in crochet too back when I was 11 years old. We were taught in school and my auntie also taught me. I would love to do it again if only I have time. The combination of the aqua and lime green in the first picture looks so relaxed and refreshing. I like it too.
Hi Nita! Thanks so much for having me today. I have linked up my post about Paris. I don't think you could get more mod mixed with vintage than the Louvre shot I included!
Best wishes and happy week,
Natasha.
I used to crochet and have made several afghans but I always forget how to get started. I am trying to knit a little now...can't get as far with knitting as you can with crochet...at least I can't. Pretty colors on that granny square afghan!~Hugs, Patti
Wonderful features, Nita. I must take a closer look.
You always find the best pics! Love that granny square throw. Linking up a room I showed before but I painted the coffee table acid green.

So glad featured Ricki's lamp. She is such a sweetie. Love that afghan in blues.
Love the afghan too Nita, love the colors.
I'm so glad to be able to join your party today, not sure if it qualifies for Mod Monday Mix, but thought I'd try anyway. Thanks for hosting!

Yep, I suppose we all have unfinished projects that we plan to get around to someday ...you certainly aren't alone. Bet you'll have a great feeling of accomplishment after you tackle that afghan too ...it took me 3 years to finish mine.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I learned to crochet when I was 11 or 12, and I have done it off and on ever since. I have made many an afghan, sweater, scarf, hat, stuffed animal ... I even crocheted a life-sized greyhound as a fundraiser raffle item a few years ago. Everyone I know who has a baby gets a blanket made from Baby Teri yarn (the best and softest baby yarn on the planet). I love the colors in your inspiration pic!
I just adore that afghan and all of these images are perfect for starting off the week! Xoxoxo
Your dinning room looks great. The new drapes look lovely..They bring everything together.
Hi there Nita...this is my first time joining in your party. Hope you do not mind I linked up to my blabs site some inspiration decorating with trunks. Thought it was nice to share. Thanks again for hosting.
