Someone has a sense of humor
I loved Beatrice's hat!

Hilarious! Just got home so I hadn't seen any of the wedding coverage... can't wait to catch up on it tonight.

Where's the number that says how many servings of vegetables she's eaten LOL. Sorry, that was cruel, but seriously, that was the first thing that popped into mind. Love the rest of the outfit, very sophisticated, elegant.

Maybe Fergie picked out the hats for her girls! LOL! But it is sad, they had the moment all eyes could see the beauty they do have..but the hats took that away...

I thought they looked like the two daughters of Cinderella's stepmother! I hated that hat!!

well, since YOU brought it up.
I HATED it. I agree with Shirley.
This was a moment in time that made history and she's walking around with that hideous thing on her head. Surely there would be a different occasion to express her unique sense of style. Also the color? What is that "flesh"? Hated Hated Hated it.
and I was so busy looking at that thing that I have no idea what her face looks like.
Sorry, I hate to be so mean.

I'm still trying to figure out what holds it up?!

Anyway, the girls are beautiful.

Oh I thought those hats were dreadful! I can imagine that the Queen was mortified...but I'll bet their mother was proud! Wasn't it a marvelous wedding though? I didn't get up to watch it live but of course saw it through out the day. The British do know how to throw a good party...~Ann

Hello Nita! People are really bashing out Princess Beatrice's hat. In fact there was a Facebook page created for her or I mean her hat.

To be fair with her, I like her dress and her almost perfectly shaped legs.

I thought B's hat looked like antlers! Yep, they were a little wild looking for me. Sad, because they are both very attractive actually, but the hats do detract.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Pink Saturday!

Oh dearest, I missed your previous post! I had quite a week at school, but I tried to keep up! Yes,I too was not interested in watching it, because we don't watch TV and I never got inundated with all the pre-wedding hype. BUT WHEN I DID GET A CHANCE TO VIEW IT YESTERDAY MORNING, I wept. To see that people came together for a moment to share in a faery tale-like event moved me. To see those two young men without their mum was touching, but may these human beings live on to do RIGHT in the world...lovely post as always Nita!

I totally agree with Shirley and Oldblackcatboo -- that was the first thing I thought! And then they sat directly behind the queen!

Oh, life. They are interesting hats, though. I wish we brought hats back into style in America! :)

Those hats are the second most talked about aspect of THE WEDDING (THE WEDDING being the first, of course) they grabbed the spotlight from all the celebs in a way a less flashy hat would not have done. Thanks for the smile with this fun post.
