I heart this dining room.
This is the dining room of Britt of
She hand painted the walls herself.
Aren't they scrumptious?
Her dining room furniture is similar to mine or rather as mine will be.
I love the wainscoting in this room.
But really love the pattern on the walls.
She was inspired by expensive wallpaper and decided to blow the pattern up
and freehand paint it.
I think it's so much better than wallpaper.
Decorated for Christmas.
The rest of her house is just as fabulous.
She's working on redoing her kitchen now.
I love the color scheme of this home.
Please go by and see all her other wonderful projects and say hello.
I'm still taking entries for the CSN Stores Gift Certificate Giveaway.

I love this dining room too! You could totally do this to yours...I cannot wait to see your room Nita.
Oh MY! That IS amazing!
Just beautiful! I really love it but I'm afraid I'd go mad before finishing it. It looks like it would take ALOT of patience and that's not really my strong suit. LOL!
But WoW! Nita, I bet YOU could do it! and it would be LOVELY.
That's extremely impressive and quite an inspiration!
Lovin that sofa thanks for sharing!
Her walls are gorgeous! What a labor of love that was! She is very talented. It's a beautiful dining room. Very peaceful and calming. I also like the fabric on her chairs and her beautiful chandelier. I'm off to check out her blog. Have a great weekend, Nita.
Wow! I'm impressed. As the others have said, you could so do that. Got to skip on over to Gus and Lula's. I already know I'm going to love it. My Target pillow is on her sofa.

OMG! I am in love too!! I could so get that look in my dining room, but I'd have to figure out how to pain the walls like that!! It's really beautiful. It also makes me want to touch up my dining room furniture.
Thanks so much for your sweet words about my dining room! I think we must have similar tastes, because I love everything on your blog - it's just gorgeous! I love your little tag line at the bottom, too. I'm also rich in chandeliers, but not weenie dogs :)
Thanks again for the mention,
Britt
What a gorgeous room!!! LOVE that the walls are hand-painted!!! I did that in my office but I don't have the guts to do it in the main living area of the house... hmmm... this gives me some courage ;) thanks so much for sharing!!
This is really neat. My daughter has a very similar table in her kitchen. I stripped the top, left it natural and rubbed it with teak oil. I then painted the bottom white. She has the buffet that matches and later did the same treatment on the buffet. We like a lot of the same things. Go figure. Hugs, Ginger
