This room has far more brown than I would normally like but with all the touches of white;

it speaks to me. 

Of course I love those chairs. I always love a room with them in it.

It just looks like a room a person would love to spend time in.

Mod Mix Monday was good as always....

Fox Hollow Cottage created this spring coffee table from a bench.

Nothing better than something old, worn and timeless painted turquoise in my book.

Look at these pretty pillows Sonja sewed up at Beyond the Screen Door.

But then she is always sewing up something pretty.

Lakeshore Cottage Living created this darling girl's room.

I adore that stencil on the wall.

Town and Country Living brought some springtime into the bedroom.

Cindy at Oakview Cottage painted her vintage suitcases. 

Don't you love the side table this created for her room?

And finally...

Thrifty Inspirations turned a beat up old dresser into this amazing credenza. 

Personally, I wish this was in my office right now with my tv on it.

Well, another week gone..I can't believe we are into the 

end of March already.

First, some green houses in honor of St. Patrick's Day which slid right past me 

because I had to work.

These houses covered in vines are magical and mysterious.

Very hard to maintain, I would think.

Except for that second one that is abandoned.

I was once in a very cute and nice little historic bungalow whose front window was absolutely 

covered in english ivy.

On the outside the home was perfectly manicured except for that ivy 

and inside it was decorated lovingly.

I wondered why would they let the vines cover the front window?

Once inside I understood.

From the inside looking out...the ivy created the perfect green curtains for the room.

A lovely live green drape to hide the street and passing neighbors.

It was mad but wonderful.

Now on to this week's house.

I've been pinning away ideas for my backyard space all winter.

All these images are inspiration for my own space.

Well, maybe not those moss covered chairs but aren't they delightful?

I want this for my side patio. I know this must be a garden center but pots of 

boxwoods...that would transform my backyard because they'd be green all year.

It gets so ugly out there in the winter and the boxwoods would solve that.

Lots of green and amazing. I think I am loving the idea of an iron pergola.

My backyard becomes just a green room when all the leaves come out on the trees.

I love it. 

My Mom thinks it's too closed in but I adore it.

I just want to expand upon the feeling.

Are you getting excited about outdoor decorating?
