Pallet Furniture
Yes, pallet furniture in a room that pretty.
I spied two pallets yesterday and it was all I could do to keep from picking them up.
They were by the trash....all set for picking.
In the end...I didn't because I have so many projects going on as it is
and pallets don't fit my decor.
But Man! I love the way they look in this room.
Or maybe it's the pillows, pink table and chandelier I love.
Are you all getting busy with spring projects?
I have been trying to...but it was so cold last week and this weekend....I fell off
the wagon. I just wanted to curl up with the dogs at night and do nothing.
I'm very good at that.
But many of you were busy getting things done...and here are my favorites.
Kim of Made in a Day knocked off Anthropologie and made these super cute rope bracelets.
Angela of Number Fifty Three showed off the modern vintage mix in her living room.
Cute cat too!
Thee Velvet Glove calls this dresser and it's matching bedside table - "Mermaid Chic".
I totally agree. This is what the little mermaid's furniture would look like under the sea.
Danielle of Finding Silver Pennies painted a 1920's table in this lovely color.
It's just precious now.
Laura of Whimsical Perspective showed off some of her collections.
I especially enjoyed this rack of old platters.
Tanya at Twelve O Eight made this cute little foot stool.
I love it's chunky shape and the fabric she chose.
Patty of Chateau Revivals did a bang up job on this dresser make over.
I adore the rich wood mixed with the white.
Isn't it just the best?
So many good things out there every week.
Have you noticed that it seems all the magazines show things
influenced by blogs, now?
Seems like every decor magazine I pick up either has articles about other bloggers and
their homes or copies of projects originally done by bloggers.
You go in stores and products mimic things hand made that have been seen on
Etsy and Blogs.
We are cutting edge...in design.
Us, bloggers.

Great pics here! (I was in Barnes & Noble last night thumbing through decorating magazines....and you're right! Bloggers are featured in so many of them. I think the material and AMOUNT of material in magazines has improved. Romantic Country was my favorite during this visit. I should have given in and paid the $7.99 price. I regretted that I didn't the minute I got home.)
Thanks for hosting! Life to the full! Melissa @ DaisyMaeBelle
Great party! (pass the cheese whiz)
Always enjoy your features :)
Nita, thanks so much for hosting Mod Mix. Love the so pretty room with the pallet seating. My son in law built an entry bench out of pallets for their farmhouse style home. Looks so cool. Like you I'm not sure it would fit in my decor but I love all the things I've seen that other bloggers have come up with. So fun. Have a great week!
Nita! Thanks so much for hosting. I love all the features. So delighted for my little Annabel to be included!
