Pink Sofas

Pinky Swear
Sorry, no pictures of the dining room yet.
I'm working to get it all done for the home tour next week.
I may show parts of it soon but we've had no sun here so haven't been able to take photos.
So instead, I thought I'd share photos of pink sofas today.
Yum, I love this mod pink sofa mixed with a modern toile wallpaper.
That sofa looks like a big hunk of strawberry taffy.
What about that pillow? Really love everything about this photo.
My own sofa is pink.
That was the one thing I knew for sure. I wanted a pink sofa.
I consider pink a neutral. Almost any color looks wonderfully paired with it.
I don't think its a risky choice at all.
See how good that sofa looks with a black dog?
Here's Violet sitting on my pink sofa.
I went looking for a good shot of my sofa and discovered I don't have any.
Well, here's a little of it from Christmas.
I never show a long shot of it because then you see the ugly brown dining room furniture behind it.
But that is a thing of the past so expect lots of photos in the future of my own pink sofa.

I'm having a great giveaway!

Don't you love this pink swimsuit?
It's so glamorous!

  1. I'm a proud member of the female populace but ironically, I am not a big fan of color pink. Although if I were to use Pink, I choose its tame version, like the one shown in the 3rd picture. I love the light pink paired with black. Weird but I find it sexy. hehehehe

By the way, thank you for the comment in my blog, regarding my stamps. I love your detailed suggestion. :)

  2. I love these pink sofas!!! Especially yours. My husband would not want one though unfortunately. The one with the black dog is just beautiful too. And I really do like the modern one in the second picture...just soemthing about its clean lines...I'd like to sit there and read a magazine. Can't wait to see your dining chairs. The doggy fabric was cute..you really do need a pillow in that. ;)

  6. Yay pink sofas. I saw some velvet sofas on One Kings Lane for 6,000 dollars or more yesterday, on sale, for goodness sake. If only I can find one at an estate sale...time and patience.

  10. I'm all over pink right now. Just found some pink silk linen drapes at GW for $2.12 a pair, and lucky me, there were 2 prs. They are not near long enough but I'll find something to do with them. Thanks for sharing all these delish sofas!

  11. Okay, I was prepared to be "meh" but, as usual, you make it look like a million bucks when you gather the images and bring them together.

    Lovely!

  13. Hi Nita - Love the pink and black sofa, and yours is so cute!

Thanks for your kind comments about my home in a magazine. Also, it's funny, so far you're the only one who noticed that the back of my seat looks like the British flag, but that was exactly what I wanted it to look like. I know you get me ;-)

  17. Carol -
My Sofa is vintage. I bought it at an antique store about 25 years ago. It originally was covered in a pinky peach fabric. It is suppose to be french and date back to 1910. I have the matching chair which I show a lot more on the blog...because the room is finished behind the chair but I'll show a good shot of the sofa very soon.

  31. Pink sofa. Great now I have ANOTHER thing I probably can't have because other people who share my living space wouldn't get it. Thanks. I mean it, thanks for letting me enjoy the thrill of a pink sofa vicariously. Love your blog - new follower here via Beverly's blog. Come say 'hi' at my blog sometime.

  33. The living room is one of the most important rooms in a home and the right sofa can make all the difference. A living room sofa should be comfortable and stylish to create a warm, inviting atmosphere for family members or guests alike.
