Are you ready for Halloween?
I'm not.
It just has not happened for me this year. I've had to accept that.
It's just not going to be this year.
I can't get my outside decorations out of the garage cause I can't get the garage door open
and I didn't get anything done in the house.
I'll just move on and go straight to Christmas.
You won't hate me for that, will you?
I just didn't have it in me.
But I wish I had a display going on like that one above.
It's glorious! Can a Halloween display be glorious?
I think so.
So here are my faves from the last time I did a Mod Mix Monday which has been two weeks ago.
Sorry about that.
Vicky of If It Were Mine always shows houses that need some help.
She takes them room by room and shares photos of how the rooms could look if they were her's.
This photo is how she would redo the kitchen of the old house in her post.
I love this vintage kitchen!

I love this vintage kitchen!
Pam of Everyday Living puts together some amazing tablescapes.
Like this one under the arbor at her home.
Pam did this one too for her son's wedding!
Wonderful, isn't it?
This one I really love.
Kyla of House of Hipsters took some store bought candles with not so pretty labels
and designed and printed some of her own with her own name on it.
Aren't they much more upscale?
I need to do this...cause I often buy cheapish candles with ugly labels.
Marium of Decorative Vintage scored that great vintage painting above.
But check out her awesome card catalog too. All of this looks so perfect together.
Priscilla took us on a tour of her home all decked out for Halloween.
I'm a big fan of her chalkboard.
Spooky little glittered raven cookies by Simply Suzanne's.
Darling!
Even though I'm not celebrating Halloween this year...I'd love to see what you are doing.

Please join in this week's Mod Mix Monday!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for featuring our Halloween kitchen !
ReplyDeleteI am mostly skipping it too....I know you LOVE it so you will miss it I am sure. But in the shop we have gone straight to xmas although it is with metallics and aqua blue and apple green colors. As you know I don't do red too often. Well I might just have to come out there on a trip and get that damn garage door open for you. How fun would that be?
ReplyDeleteThe two pumpkins on my table are going to be my only decoration tis year. We're still having a summer like weather so I'm just not in the mood.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have been enjoying all the Halloween goodness going on it Blog Land I have done very little myself this year. I'm focused on crafting for Christmas in my craft room and Autumn and Thanksgiving around the house. Thanks for hosting. Lovely to be here!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your feature! Be sure to check out my post today at www.everydayliving.me. You may just see something familiar!
