Summer Room
I'd love to spend all summer in this room.
The thing I love most is that pillow with the swimmer on it.
Nothing wrong with all that aqua though either.
Thanks to all who tried to cheer me after I said I was depressed.
I guess I should have not used the word depressed but rather melancholy.
Fourth of July being over makes me feel melancholy.
I loved it that some of you shared your own feelings and
the few that are teachers decided they better check and see how their kids are feeling
as school approaches.
I'm still in a bit of a red white and blue mood, I realized when I went shopping the other
day and noticed all the cute 4th of July things on clearance.
I resisted, though.
But look at some of the cute patriotic things from last week's Mod Mix Monday.
Judy from In His Grip created this super cute flag and burlap pillow for her front porch.
Darling!
Just look at Cottage and Broome's 4th of July display in her garden.
So sweet and patriotic.
Betsy Speert painted this adorable table with Annie Sloan paint.
Look how cute it is!
Ok, this I love, love, love....all those hand mirrors on that gray wall!
And I love the vanity too.
See the whole room created by Jean at The Backyard Bungalow.
Daisy Mae Belle made an old brass lamp look like aged metal with a little chalk paint.
I can't resist a pretty backyard and this one has many different levels and vignettes.
See Sue's backyard at Sullivan and Murphy.
One more....I just loved Kelly's foyer decor especially this shelf full of green glass
and the mirror above it. This really is a Mod Vintage Mix.
See it as Eclectically Vintage.
That was a good week for sure...
I bet this next one will be great too.
Please link up your Mod Vintage Mix's for this week, below.
Remember anything old made over to be new...anything new changed up to look old.
New and old together...
Please include the Mod Mix Monday logo and back link to me.

Hi Nita!
ReplyDeleteI stayed out of the stores to avoid the sales. I have to practice restraint. I have been really good about not spending any money. That is the only way I can do it. I am a terrible window shopper. LOL
Thanks for the party =) Happy to have something new to share. Hope you and the pups have a great week.
