Let's Get It On!
I found this image through Pinterest and found it so intriguing.
It's a mix of Italian Renaissance and Modern Industrial.
I love the rustic muslin drapes, the big Renaissance influenced tapestry behind the bed,
the retro chandelier, the big green pillows. And I usually don't like green inside.
I love everything about this room.
This week we had lots more great ModVintage inspiration from MVL followers.
The beginnings of a conservatory at Marie's Mason.
It's not finished but I am obsessed with conservatories made out of odds and ends.
I know how talented Marie is so I know this is going to be over the top fabulous.
Wow! This outdoor sofa turned out so cute at Glimpse of My World.
Love that fabric and the metal painted red.
Lime paint transformed this thrift store console at KTbee Creations
This one found in my home town.
I would have found this table hard to resist if I'd come across it.
Then there is this spa like bathroom renovation done for not much money and a whole lot
of ingenuity at A Sense of Design. You need to see this girl's kitchen too.
She totally redid a galley kitchen into something very beautiful.
Now let's see your Mod Mixes for this week....
Thanks Nita! I come here everyday!

I think that room is too moody for me. But I agree with you that I am obsessed with creating a garden house or space like Marie is trying to do, and the one that Donna did with her Tinker house. OBSESSED!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally in love with that first room. Maybe I'm just moody.
ReplyDeleteI like the mixture of the modern with traditional in the photo. Thanks for hosting Mod Mix Monday. I can't wait to see everyone's posts! :D

Love that room too Nita. I could totally take lots of naps there! Thanks for featuring my DIY garden room. I'm going to finish it this weekend, I get three days off. Woohoo! It was my bday last weekend so I was quite busy, but I'll be joining your party again next week.

oh my gosh, i'm so flattered you featured my green table on here! =D my mom saw it (she follows you too of course!) and she texted me about it while i was at work.
ReplyDeletekeep the great stuff coming. i love your blog.
I love all your selections!
ReplyDeleteThe first photo I really like but would LOVE it if the drapes were gone, (I'm claustrophobic and I think they would start to bug me very quickly!)
I would love to have a conservatory...or a garden shed, or an ARTIST studio....so ofcourse I love Maria's!
Well, I'm running VERY late! Let me see if I can link up with "something!" ...I'm OFF to search!
