Harvey

Lots of photos of Harvey
He is easier to photograph than Violet.
Such a sweet boy
I love each of his spots
little fat feet
funny face
He never does anything bad
except eat too much
Two spotted dogs...

Harvey is doing better these days, I think.
He seems less lost. I know he must still miss Newman because he was his big brother and
they played, ate and slept together all day long.

Sally and he are good together but its not the same.

I'll have photos of Sally tomorrow.
She is nearly impossible to get good photos of.

But I tried.

  8. Oh Harvey...you are quiet the ladies man!!! Nita, he is precious, oh, that face...that sweet, sweet face! My Sophie is the food hog of all three of mine. We are really having to watch her as she would eat all three of the dogs food without even batting an eye. The other two, Dora and Bailey, they don't have much interest in the food at all, barely eat. It is crazy how some dogs do that.

Give Harvey a big ole hug from me and tell him I think is is just adorable.....Sally too! don't want to hurt her feelings you know!!!

    Have a good day friend!!

  9. What is so sad is how you can't explain to them what happened to their companion.

  15. Hmmmm...
Is it possible to fall in love with someone you have never met?
    Obviously it is!

  16. Harvey is such a love...he looks sweet, and very gentle. Glad Violet's back is doing better...Miss. Ginger's had quite a lot of back issues which have been very scary, but she always manages to get better...and she's bumpy now too in her old age (14) poor girl, but still the best companion...Doxie's are the best!

  18. Please stop overfeeding your dog, it's cruel.

If you notice my other dogs are of normal weight. It is very difficult to manage the food of one and make sure the others get enough. I am VERY worried about Harvey's weight. I try to limit his food intake. I can't feed him diet food because it gives one of my other dogs terrible gastric distress. (bloody diarrhea) I am trying to figure out a solution. I am NOT feeding him all kinds of stuff all the time. I pick up the food bowl when he is eating and the others have stopped. It's not as easy as saying....don't over feed your dog.

If you really have an opinion...I'd appreciate the comment not being left anonymously.
