It's still very warm here but there is no doubt I'm starting to get that fall feeling.
I saw my first pumpkins in front of a supermarket the other night.
I won't be buying any till the weather cools.
I love that combo above of the sea foam blue green colored door and orange pumpkins.
What a great color combination!
Pier 1 had this great fall display last year. Just Wonderfall!
Isn't she a lovely lady of the fall leaves!
Here we go with that blue green and orange combination again.
I think that might be the prettiest granny square afghan I've ever seen.
That makes me want to get out some crochet hooks.
Summer wicker becomes the perfect spot to display an assortment of pumpkins.
Suddenly that wicker doesn't seem so summery at all.
Last year I posted this super cute Halloween wreath. At the time I didn't know
what blog it originally came from.
Jill of BabyRabies.com wrote me the other day to let me know it was her's.
I knew my readers would all like to read her tutorial.
There is still lots of time to create your own Monster Wreath before Halloween.
Are you getting in the Fall Spirit?
I am slowly...
I am SO in the fall spirit, but the weather here in Central CA is just not cooperating--102 degrees predicted for the next several days. I haven't even bought any fall flowers for outside, for fear that they will roast. Autumn is by far my favorite season, and I love, love, love that first picture that you posted.
ReplyDeletePerhaps this weekend I'll pull out a few fall decor items, but in truth, I'm not quite ready.
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo on this post - makes me wish for a new entry to the house!
I must be living by Heather above me. It's my favorite time of year and its roasting here too. 100 degrees and I hate it! Great photos Nita, so inspirational!

It's still in the high 90's here on the Texas Gulf coast, but you are putting me in an autumn mood!
ReplyDeleteBig Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
LOVE all these images, oh yeah, I'm ready!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was getting in the fall groove, but it's still just too hot.

I love the colour of the door in your first picture!
ReplyDeleteLove that Wicker Chair! Beautifully done in Fall Pumpkins and gourds!
ReplyDeleteLove these images.
ReplyDeleteIt felt like Fall early this morning but now....
It's suppose to be high 90's the next few days.
I hate this weather.
I want cool Fall days.
Love the lady with the autumn leaf tresses! I wonder where she lives?
ReplyDeleteNot much sign of autumn here but we have been able to open our windows up for a couple of hours early in the mornings so nights are cooling off. I never know whether to do interim summer/fall decorating or just go at it full speed.
I won't be buying pumpkins, etc. until the first crisp day that makes a trip to the Farmer's Market more than just a buying trip.
Beautiful fall spaces. I'm trying to hang onto summer mode for a few more weeks here though. We're going to hit record highs this week. WooHoo! Then rain for the next 9 months! Blessings to you Nita, Patti
ReplyDeletethis was fun...loved Pier ones display from last year...i love seeing the creative retail displays obviously as i am in that mode now. Loved the door in a Duck Egg like color with the pumpkins...i hung up my wreaths today at my house and it felt so good to have a day off, watch some football and do a little decorating and fall yard cleanup. Miss you!
ReplyDeletefunny, my front door used to be painted that color. that picture makes me want to paint it back! and you are right about those granny squares - how can something that is usually so ugly get so pretty?
