Tulips and China

Bloomin' #@2*#!!!
I came into the dining room on Sunday to find my tulips blooming like crazy!
They are the loveliest shade of soft pink.
The only pink ones among pots of red ones at the store.
Would have been nice if they'd bloomed out like this for Valentine's Day.
I'm really enjoying them though.
I wish they'd last till Easter...but alas they won't.
Closeups of some of my rose china.
A lovely stack
I'm really enjoying having the rose china out...it has been years since I displayed it.
Aren't those tulips pretty?
I think they were the perfect Valentine's Day present to myself.

Perhaps I'll have to just get more for Easter.

  1. Ahhh...your photos are beautiful. Love the tulips, favorite next to daisies and the china is just gorgeous. I want to pick it up and examine it all much closer. So, so pretty. I love buying flowers for the house even though I have to practically hang them from the ceiling because of Audrey. Deb

  9. I love pink tulips, probably one of my favorites next to pink roses. My husband tried to get me pink tulips for V-day but they only had yellow ones that looked half way healthy. That's ok...the yellow ones were pretty. "Were" meaning they are already wilted and ready to throw out. Hopefully it won't be long until we start seeing tulips popping up outside. My daffodils are popping up now. Should start seeing blooms sometime next month....hopefully. Your pink tulips look just beautiful on your china hutch!~Hugs, Patti

  16. So pretty, Nita. I was excited about the quality of the tulips that I found today. They're artificial though and let's face it...nothing compares to the real thing. Your tulips and vignette are pretty in pink.
