Mid Century Modern in Atlanta
Mid Century on the outside with added elegant touches.
I love the way the ivy has been trained up the chimney and the big topiaries.
Love the color of the front doors and trim.
I don't know what that piece of furniture is but it's great.
The perfect sofa between the bookcases.
This house is really a mix of furnishings. Adore that huge pear painting in this room.
Very zen
A much more decorative fireplace mantel than you'd expect in this home.
That's a great wall of windows.
bright and very modern kitchen
Fantastic headboard
Nice view out the windows. Very hotel like.
Not hotel like
Great backyard
I really don't know how to describe this home...do you?
It has mid century bones, some eighties feeling architecture, a little french vibe and asian and rustic...but sleek and very modern too. Very eclectic I'd say for sure.
Absolutely Beautiful Home!!
ReplyDeleteIt's different but I like it. You would not believe from the front that the back looked like that. I am just back from a long break and it is good to see your wonderful posts again- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI saw Mid-Century and I got all excited but actually I didn't care for it that much. I LOVED the backyard of course but the rest seemed too "hotel" as you said...just cold. But thanks for always coming up with unexpected Open Houses!

ReplyDeleteI agree this house defies a lable. Wonderful colors both on the inside and outside. I am not a fan of Mid-Century Modern but I really like this house and the yard. It is all very tastefully done. Thanks for sharing it.
