Pink in the Shade
I planted these pretty pink double impatiens the other day in my little
wall fountain. It's mixed there with creeping jenny that
weathered just fine over the winter and came back with gusto.
Don't they look like little roses?
I'm sure I'll have many more blooms soon.
I only bought one little pot of these but think I need to go back and get many others.
They are very very sweet.
Just wanted to share their loveliness today.

I have never seen double ones before,I must look out for some. They look lovely in your little fountain :)
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful and you're so lucky you found those. I went to two nurseries this weekend looking for doubles and couldn't find any, don't know why they aren't stocking them here in No. CA.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I plant Creeping Jenny in all my pots. Chartreuse goes with everything.

ReplyDeleteThey're quite lovely. My plants are all started to burn up, looking quite frazzled. We've had lots of 100 degree weather in Phoenix.

Do you have holes for drainage, or just put gravel or something in there? I've never been able to get anything to grow in something like that.

ReplyDeleteNita, can you tell me where you found these pink flowers? I live North OKC and have an empty planter these would look beautiful in. Thanks! (Except, I will have to snuggle my planter up close to the house under the porch. If only I had your beautiful shady neighborhood to live in.)
