Open House Sunday 14

Colorful Cottage
Another home in Morningside neighborhood of Atlanta
Tree house bedroom

Then I found this unusual one in Oklahoma City
Nice little mid century ranch on the outside....but inside....
It's all glammed out.
I can't help myself, I love those barstools. Oh and the big clam shell on the island.
Like sleeping in a cloud...I would imagine. I love the lamps on either side of the bed.
Do not like the big black candlesticks. Not sure what I think about the antler chandelier in this room.
Kind of love this bathroom. It's such a crazy mix. Mostly its sparkly, which I like.
Love this very much.
Horns appear to be a theme in this home.
Great loungy patio furniture.

  1. WOW!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the first one!
I would not change one single thing. I adore everything about it including the artwork. I looks like such a nice happy home, I wonder why they are moving?
I don't care for the second one very much but maybe it's because I just saw the first.
It looks too cold and perfect. I HATE all the antlers and the decorating looks like they were trying too hard. But of course, I did like the pool.
Sigh, now I want to paint my rooms happy colors like the first one!
    Great post thanks!

  4. All you other gals who want to move into the first house will just have to come visit me -- cause it's MINE! (not really, but it's so adorable I want to be a 3 year old having a fit because she doesn't want to share).

  5. The first one is darling. Full of charm, only thing I would change is the leather furniture, not a big fan and feel like it makes the room feel so dark and heavy.
Other than that its cozy, fun, fresh and elegant. The 2nd one is nice but not loving the feeling...it doesn't feel cozy or very warm and I am big on the warmth of a house. Thanks Nita!

  9. Hmmm, not sure I liked either very much. I did LOVE the dressing room closet area of the second room. I think the owner was trying to go for a Mary McDonald room, but missed the mark a tad.

  10. What beautiful houses you have found for us today! I love the first one, I could live there, it reminds me of mine, only larger.
The second one is very glamorous, but not me, I'm afraid.
Thanks so much for these house tours, I always enjoy them and go back for second looks.
    Hugs, Cindy

  14. The cottage is adorable and cozy. Not feeling the love on the second house, looks a little too staged!
