H a p p y E a s t e r ! ! !
I decided to set my dining room table for Easter even though I'm actually eating out.
Yes, reservations at a fabulous restaurant in town.
But I couldn't resist to set the table because I have the perfect dishes for Easter
and have never had them out in this house.
I'd been saving them for use on the table after it was painted white.
These dishes are LuRay Pastels. They were manufactured from 1938 to 1962.
I've collected them for a long time and have at least a set of 8 as a mixed set...
two pink, two yellow, two blue, two green of everything plus extras of quite a lot
and lots of serving pieces.
I have egg cups too but couldn't find the yellow one in my cabinet today.
Besides...eggs don't really go with tea.
It does make the perfect Easter table although I don't think it compares to what
Pottery Barn came up with.
Pottery Barn came up with.
All of this is so perfect from the willow charges to the little bunnies and egg shaped plates.
This gives me something to strive for next year.

Oh, I think a chocolate egg served in an eggcup would work for Easter tea! Lovely setting, Nita.
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny - I think you would be a hoot to hang out with...."Besides...eggs don't really go with tea"

Happy Easter to you! Your table looks beautiful. Hope that your dinner out was yummy.
ReplyDeleteBefore this Easter, I had never heard of Lu-Ray and now I've seen it on several tables. It's magnificent. Your table is wonderful. Thanks so much for being a part of Seasonal Sundays.

Cute, cute, cute!
ReplyDeleteActually it does compare to Pottery Barn's! I love the Lu Ray. I have that pink sugar bowl, but I can't remember if there's a lid. I'll buy things w/o the lids, and sometimes find the lids elsewhere. If it's pink, I'll buy it.
ReplyDeletePretty dishes! I've enjoyed catching up on all of your Easter decor posts. Nita style! Love it!
ReplyDeleteMita, you vignettes & decor is exquisite. Love the bright colors & pastels ... your centerpiece is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week ~
