I love pink. Our dining room was pink, and our stupid realtor made us paint it because she said that no one likes pink (it was the most lovely shade of ballet slipper). We listed our house, and one week later, the bottom fell out of the real estate market around here. So we never sold our house. Meh! Meh X 100!!! Now our dining room is a pale goldenrod color; it is a pretty color, but I miss the pink!!! :(
Nita, that first room is gorgeous...love the brown and that curtain...oh my. I will try to post pics next week of a room that a friend and I designed that is pink. I hope that my first message I typed did not go through because that means I left you 2. oh well. Thanks for adding me to your front page...so sweet of you as I just noticed. Happy weekend. Dawn xo
I love that first bedroom... I would hang a small chandelier over the bed. I can imagine one would look perfect there- and because really what room would not look better with a chandelier?
Well you KNOW that I am LOVING the Pink! Now I'm thinking of painting my laundry/mud/dog room PINK and carrying the color out into the kitchen by recovering the chair seats in a pink pattern and making pillows for the bench and.....
There is something special about that first room. After staring it I think it is the big brown bed that makes the pink walls and the blue throw look so right. Mixing in the zebra and the floral and that single round pillow it is sweet without going to far. Loved it!
YAY!!! I must admit...I love pink! I'm so happy it is finally getting it's due....especially since it's being used in a more serious and sophisticated way. Pink isn't just for little girl's rooms anymore! :) <3 this post Nita! :)
Beautiful! I adore pink! Love the peonies and that gorgeous pink chair. This post makes me want to bring a little more pink into my house. I just love it!
Love the pink, sorry you changed the color of your room. I know they always say someone is not going to like something, but who knows what others will like.
PINKALICIOUS!!!
