I'll be spending it with those dearest to my heart....yes....that's right -

Violet, Newman, Harvey and Sally

We plan on having red velvet cake to celebrate.

Don't you love red velvet cake?

When I was a child my Aunt Jane made it and brought it to every family function.
She made it from scratch and it was bright red on the inside.
We called it Red Red Cake. 
I didn't even know there was such a thing as Red Velvet cake till I saw it in a bakery as an adult.

I've had many slices of red velvet cake in my life and never have I had a piece that tasted as good
as my Aunt Jane's.

    I didn't taste Red Velvet Cake until I was in my forties! Have no idea why. Would love to have your aunts recipe :) That chandelier in the bathroom image is fabulous.

    Kisses to you and the weenies! I have only had red velvet cake once, a friend made it and brought it to my birthday party. Yummmy.
    Love that pink bathroom and the first floral arrangement is how I want my funeral flowers to look!!!

That first floral arrangement is so gorgeous...I think if it were mine, I would actually cry when it wilted! Mmmmm Red velvet cake sounds amazing! What a great Vday treat!
