Mod Mix Monday #193

 via
Oh...I love this comforter! How fun is this bedroom? I know it's not practical cause there is
a staircase right next to the bed and a piano on one side but I like the look of it all.
Especially that comforter.

Summer will soon be upon us and I found inspiration in last week's Mod Mix Monday.
Priscilla shared how to make a cute daisy wreath but take a look at her yard
and all the pretty things blooming in it!
Priscilla also shared her latest chalkboard art.
Jan of Just Jan shared a table all set for dining outdoors.
She also shared her flower filled living room.
Very Chintzy! In a very good way.

Mod Mix Monday #191

Isn't this a pretty bathroom?
I love that cabinet, the mirror, the big metal sink bowl and faucet.
And I think that vintage modern sconce keeps the whole thing from being too sweet.
Notice the shelves are packed with colorful ever so used stuff?
Somehow even that jumble of stuff looks good.
I'd totally embrace this cabinet in my own bathroom.

Sorry, I've been a bit out of touch of late. I'll explain this week.
So...I'm only now sharing my favorites from Mod Mix Monday of two weeks ago....
Shall we start?
Kris of Junk Chic Cottage made over her dining room chairs by adding ruffles to the seats.
Aren't they precious?
Just look at this pretty white on white dining room!
Tabatha of Chic by Tab painted a little dresser with Miss Mustard Seed's Milkpaint in Kitchen Scale.
I have some of this paint here at the house and really need to put it to work.
She took a ugly dresser and turned it into a jewel.
Cecelia of My Thrift Store Addiction visited a wonderful little store
and this was the first thing she spotted.
A cute way to display photos and sheet music used as placemats.
Terrific idea!
Mary of Orphans with Makeup outdid herself with is antique buffet done in a spring green.
She styled it with herbs in little aged pots.
Love it so!
Su of Butterfly and Bungalow shared her potting shed / craft studio.
I so wish I had this sort of space. She has made the most of a tiny spot.
Patti of Old Things New shared photos from a Southern Garden Tour.
Lots of inspiration here. I love that porch space.
Patti (Old Things New) also paid tribute to Snoopy Girl a member of their family that they
had to say good bye to recently.
Look at that smiling beautiful face! You can just tell Snoopy Girl was a remarkable dog!

Mod Mix Monday #189

Lots of flowers in this week's favorites from Mod Mix Monday.
I am crazy for that floral curtain in the photo above. I'd like that as a shower curtain.
I also like the mix of flowers with the heavy weight linen upholstery.
Victoria of Trois Petites Filles sprinkled flowers about her home.
Laurel of The North End Loft took us on a tour of projects around her house including her dining room.
Darrielle of DD's Cottage made this super cute chalkboard out of an old window.
Penny of Penny's Vintage Home showed off her greenhouse all done up or spring.
It's not right to be jealous...it's a sin...but I so wish this greenhouse was mine.
Patti of Old Things New shared this super cute potting bench she made.
I love that she painted in wonderful cool tropical colors and then added punches of red.
Like I said, "Super Cute"!
Mary of Orphans with Makeup gave complete instructions on how to white wash furniture.
I love that piece above with it's wash of white.
You must see this at Old Black Cat Boo...
That's a giant Great Dane mix -cramming himself into a very tiny dog bed.
