Mod Mix Monday #190

 via
I often think that double sinks are not very pretty in a bathroom.
They usually involve a very large cabinet.
This is a great way to get around that dilemma.
This is two double sinks that still feels light and airy.
Love the marble...love the mirrors...love the basket...love the faucets...love the sconces.
Love it all!

Let's take a look at my favorites from last week's party...
Su of Butterfly and Bungalow gave us a tour of her sleeping porch.
I'd love to sleep on that bed and enjoy cool spring breezes...with the weenies of course!
Jamie at So Much Better With Age shared her sources for her wonderful kitchen reno.
Tabatha of Chic by Tab painted an old piece in a pretty shade of gray.
Don't you love the gold pulls on this? I love gold with gray.
Amy of Maison Decor showed us how to create this one of a kind floral chair.
Do you recognize what this is? Of course it's a miniature mannequin.
The sort that you display jewelry on...but look closely...do you really know what it is?
Or rather what it's made of?
Diana of Adirondack Girl at Heart made this little mannequin with very ingenious household supplies.

Mod Mix Monday #185

 via
I am very much aware that there isn't anything modern about the above other than
it is happening in a modern world.
I just love that small porch. What a pretty spot to have a morning cup of tea.
Love those chairs and the chandelier and the lace curtains.
Pier 1 has a new line of outdoor furniture that looks very similar to these chairs.
 Isn't it nice?
Actually, I'm thinking these would make great host & hostess chairs in my dining room.
Something else to wish for.
In the meantime here are my favorites from last week's Mod Mix Monday!
First up....look at this lovely beadboard bed tray made of scavenged items found by Joan of
Scavenger Chic. I think this might be the prettiest bed tray I've seen.
Luann of Lovely Livings set a pretty Easter table.
Darrielle of DD's Cottage did a unusual paint job on this little dresser.
Don't you like the bits of real wood showing through?
A pretty pony themed birthday party at Simply Suzannes.
Ann of Duct Tape and Denim shared a tutorial on how to make tape measure bracelets.
I love the mix of the old tape with a rhinestone pin.
Note to self - Make one of these!

Mod Mix Monday #184

What do you think about the dark dining room off of a light living room?
I usually like one room to flow into another. But I like this dark room just beyond too.
There are lots of things I love in these rooms and many things I do not
and yet...it all works. Lots of interesting ideas.

Things I love -
that sofa
the brass table
the dining table
that light fixture in the dining room
the dark paint
the radiator
little pots of succulents
the hexagon mirrors on the ceiling in the dining room

Things I don't like so much -
those dining chairs
that brass table
the indian rug
the cow hide rug in the dining room
the big floor lamp

But mix it all together and I really like it all together.

Well, these are just my thoughts today...
here are my favorites from last week's Mod Mix Monday.
Victoria of Trois Petites Filles hit it out of the park with this new way to display fresh flowers.
Frame me Pretty!
Kim of Reposhture Studio shared how to make transfer printed pillows.
Love this Easter Rabbit one.
Jamie of So Much Better with Age shares all the T on her new french vintage kitchen.

Very cute tiered Easter display at Priscillas.
Just look at this stunner at Iris Abbey. My Oh My she's a beaut!
Butterfly and Bungalow shared more of her landscape. Just look at those raised beds!
I love the St. Francis bird feeder too.
