Mod Mix Monday #169

 via
I'd love to spend a fall afternoon in that room above.
It's just the perfect room to enjoy the fall colors through all those windows.
I'm in love with that orange sofa too!

Lots of fall inspiration in last week's Mod Mix Monday...here they are!
Janet of Rosemary-Thyme put together this perfect fall table outside in her garden.
Exquisite!
Just look at this cute fall wreath created by Cathy of Vintage Paint and More.
It's all paper cut outs!!! Super cute.
Kim of Made in a Day made this spooky little wreath for Halloween.
Razmataz shared her sunroom in her Florida house. I'm really in to those daybeds.
Sarah of Backwoods Babies showed off her kitchen remodel.
Christine of Rustic-Refined shared her kitchen remodel. She still has a few more things
she wishes to do in the room including a new vent hood. I'm in love with her island.
Mimi's Vintage Charm painted a vintage dresser in milk paint.
Isn't she pretty?
Darrielle of DD's Cottage and Design has another great piece of furniture included in my
favorites. I love that she styled it with orange tulips. I love orange and turquoise together!
House of Hipsters shared how they made this pipe shelf.
I really wish I had a spot for one of these in my own home.
But there just is not a place for one.
This one is sooo cool!

Mod Mix Monday #156

 via
Oh how I love all of that above.

I'm still trying to get my house in a summer mode.
Hard when I am at work all the time these days.

I had Sunday off and I spent it planting things in pots.
I found a bunch of pots on sale and a bunch of geraniums on sale too...so I got busy.
I also found a huge pot for my hydrangea.
I hope it will be happy in it.
I'll show soon.

Here are my favorites from Mod Mix Monday - two weeks ago....
I love this party but was just too tired to get it done last week....please forgive.
Custom Comforts got some projects done at her house which included painting the front door
and shutters black on her cute little cottage.
Ann of Tarnished Royalty shared how to make this very pretty photo holder.
Rosemary and Thyme showed off her rose garden.
Angela of Number Fifty Three found a treasure of a mid century china cabinet.
A little white paint and some unusual hardware makes it a prize piece.

Vickie of Ranger 911 finished her pretty little guest room.
Christine of Little Brags turned her potting bench into a beverage station for the summer.

With all the rain we've gotten so far this summer, my whole neighborhood is looking
the best it has in ages.
It helped that we didn't have any violet storms this spring either.

I must get around and take photos. I will....I will..

Now....

Mod Mix Monday #152

 via
Ok, so there isn't much mod in this room.
There is no mod actually but it's modern in the way that all this vintage is mixed together.
I love vintage frames, don't you?
I bought a wonderful large round vintage frame last week at The Feathered Nest.
I also recently bought a vintage alabaster lamp off Ebay.
I need to make a shade for it and then I'll show.
I also need to show my little Homegoods and pillow project.

And I planted flowers for the deck and it's starting to look very pretty out there.

I'm struggling going to work 40 hours and doing projects at the house and finding time
to take photos and post about them

and obviously I'm struggling to get this party up as it's now Monday night
and I'm just now doing it.

I'm thinking I may stop doing it. It's a small party any way.
I doubt anyone will miss it.

That said...here are my favorites from last week....
Maria Elena of Our Home Away from Home spruced up her front porch for spring.
Deb of Lavender Garden Cottage shared all the little bird baths in her garden.
This one is a new one she placed to the joy of the birds in her yard.
Su of Butterfly and Bungalow did a little makeover on this table and her poodle.
Ooh La La...a french table and a french poodle!
Such a pretty little white dresser from Mimi's Vintage Charm
Look at these two darling french chairs from DD at DD's Cottage.
This too from DD. A precious french chair from Italy painted and reupholstered in a
green damask. I really love how she styled this with the flower market sign.
I snapped this photo on my iphone the other day at the store.
That turquoise cabinet is new, as is the turquoise table.
The table is only $197.99. Oh..that's tempting.
I'm not a fan of the cowhide chair. I'm not a fan of cowhide anything.
And that big huge vase thing in front?
hmmmmm
I sent this photo to a customer thinking she might like the table and she fell in love with that vase.
It looks like a giant pod from space to me.
She didn't buy it but she's seriously thinking about it.
I do like the table though...but I do not need a table.
I repeat I do not need a table.
I do love the cabinet but do not need that either.

It's a good thing I don't need any furniture.
It makes this job much more profitable for me.
