MVL Living Room

My Living Room
This is my pink sofa I've had since just after college.
It was pinky peach when I bought it but I had it recovered a few years ago in a rosie pink or as
Pantone calls it...2011 Color of the Year "Honeysuckle"!
Coffee table is a garden table from Hobby Lobby topped with a larger piece of glass.
I love the details of my 1931 cottage which includes the arches
and the pullman ceiling that I painted sky blue.
The corner lamp is a vintage plant stand topped with a pink paper lantern.
This is my art tile fireplace I designed and built using vintage Batchelder tile.
The medallion above the living chandi I purchased at Home Depot and hand painted.
This lamp was brown and gold when given to me by a friend.
I painted it white and recovered a shade in a damask patterned fabric.
This little table I started to paint last week but ran out of time to finish
so it just has primer on it at the moment. I think it's going to be periwinkle.
Another look at the living room ceiling.
This little french dresser is next on the list to be painted.
This was another lamp that was hideous gold and I painted it white and added
a shade I covered in Shabby Chic fabric.
I bought this desk on the side of the road for $5 then painted it white, of course.
The view into the dining room...

Your blog is my favorite right now! Love it! I'm just getting into the blog world. I have a cookie-cutter house, but I'm trying my best to make it unique. I just love vintage.

Just looking thru your beautiful blog again. So love your style!!! The colors are great & I think your living room sofa & chair can not be improved on! Very, very pretty! Please don't change them out. I saw that you would like to change to the love seats from where you work. What you already have is way better!
Hope your mom is doing well. I know it is wonderful to have her with you a little longer 'til she can can go back to her own home.
Blessings, dear girl, Maki
